Every child deserves a learning plan built with dignity, precision, and belief in their potential.

A mother’s journey
My youngest daughter was gifted in math. By the end of sixth grade, she was invited to a Duke University summer math program. Then, in high school, she began failing the subject. When I asked what had changed, her answer broke my heart: “Mom, the teachers just don’t have the time to stop and help me with what I need before moving on to the next thing.” Without that foundation, she began to spiral.

A teacher’s perspective
Later, as a classroom teacher, I saw the same problem from the other side of the desk. The pacing of public education left me too little time to slow down and fill in foundations for students with skill gaps, or to move faster for students who were ready for a challenge. Time was the enemy, and the children paid the price.

Filling the gaps
I started LILA Pathways so education adapts to the child, not the other way around. Every plan begins with a Learning Check-In, moves to a Learning Review, and ends with a Learning Plan built from the child’s own results, using evidence-based frameworks and adaptive practice. We work with private schools on campus and one-on-one with families online.

Thank you for trusting us with your child’s education.

Warmly,
